Hi Guys,
Let's rally support for this petition - spread the word as much as you can so we can reach the goal and try sneak in a Server for Africa....that would really change the experience for all us.

Dunno what lag you are talking about, it's been pretty solid when I've been playing with Waco, Cronus and my brother.
Yeah, I have had good days, but more bad days than good.....I guess you've been on the lucky side of the hill ;)
I only get bad lag when "racing" other players (see who reaches the destination first). Actual races as well. Lag is usually stable and little rubberbanding taking place.
I'll still sign the petition though, cause why not. I do wish R* would give an option to check one's ping; have a general idea of how good or bad the latency actually is.
With most of these guys here. The lag is when you have an international player connect. 4 of us do races and hiest together and never experience any random stuff.

GTA5 doesn't use servers. It uses meshed P2P matchmaking. The only servers used are the social club ones and those that help with matchmaking. If you connect to a private game with friends in SA (or play as host) your ping will be perfect.
Seems like a physical copy of GTA V was impossible to get until like... today?
Anyway, ordered it, will take a look, and if I like it, will sign.
Don't like to be disingenuous about petitions and stuff, so yeah.
