Yeah just too repetitive, too much of the same. Despite getting patches, different story or new content the base principle remains the same. Find a spot, huddle down and mow down waves of enemies. Just end game seems very very samey.

Haven't played in ages, I'm guessing i have a lot of patching to do.
Yeah, I don't feel i wasted my cash on it, played enough hours to say it was worth it. But it wasn't as cool as I was hoping. The end content was boring, I guess I was hoping for a more MMO style game, where you grind to the max level and the game actually gets better once you reach it. This felt the opposite, the single player and dark zone seemed kind of fun while leveling, once i got to the max level, it felt like it was a pure grind of doing the same thing over and over again.
The game needs zombies.

Pity you aren't on PC, we milk run the Dragons Nest with 2 guys running high dps, one guy running skill build and one with reclaimers. 268 and 229 weapon drops every 8 minutes.
Today’s The Division patch makes Underground loot more interesting

The Division servers are currently down for maintenance. When they come back online, a couple of big changes will have been made.
Ubisoft detailed the changes being implemented, and they should make weapon and gear collectors very happy. The Underground Operation Directives rewards will now include all gear sets from update 1.1 and 1.2. You also have a chance at getting more loot when you finish Operations with over four Directives.
Underground Sealed Caches have also had their loot table expanded to include all weapon types and all Underground and update 1.3 gear sets.
In the video above, Alex explains what these changes mean for players, and why they’re big news for diversifying the loot and the gear/weapon drops, especially for hardcore players who are have been mostly getting repeats.
Thought I would do a little investigation since I haven't played this in ages, in an attempt to see if it's any improved. Came across this, quite interesting, especially what he went through to prove a point.

Waiting to see if update 1.4 will be an improvement as Massive promised.
Question for the guys who started playing at the launch, and are still playing. Has it changed much since the launch? I'm just wondering how you felt about the game a month after launch, and what's it like now?
I stopped playing about a month in and put about 120 hours in. Still, I think that's real good entertainment value. I hope to get back into it in a little once the 1.4 patch drops as they're reworking a lot of the mechanics of the game, they even delayed their DLC to make room for this patch.
So we'll see. I love the 'single-player' aspect of the game, the world is beautifully detailed and intricate, I just love exploring it.
I didn't feel it was a waste at all, I enjoyed the time i spent playing it. But I was massively disappointed, it felt it was missing something. I found the looting uninspiring. I was kind of hoping it was a Diablo 3 story where an update down the line makes it fun again.
I started playing a month after launch and I honestly enjoyed the whole premise of a virus outbreak and the aftermath. I'm still playing online with random hook ups or people I made friends or even alone, with doing HVTs, Incursions or Dark Zone.
One aspect of the DZ I don't like is going rogue or just the rogue thing in general. Not so much the PvP aspect but some players are just pure c*nts! Shooting you in the back while you're fighting NPCs then stealing your loot. It means you can never get on equal footing with them because they're ridiculously over-powered with one-shot damaged builds. That and the fact that you lose so much points getting killed by a rogue, its hard to level up in DZ unless you're with a good group.
Do you have the DLC and or Season Pass?
Gonna do that. Right now I'm just running DZ 1 and 2 alone and 4 to 6 with Automatch. I managed to finish Falcon Lost finally :D with a good group last night, then tried it on Challenge, but jeez! the intensity increased 10-fold I'm sure. Needless to say, it didn't go well lol.
On a side note, the new Survival DLC will introduce a new enemy faction. Looking forward to that.
So hows the state of Division now days? is it fixed and worth picking up this late in the game?
Yay for a 9gb update since the last time i played. Figured I would catch up over the weekend and see whats changed.
The PTS is now live. For PC only btw.
This 1.4 update looks really interesting. Like Butter and Skill Up had some interesting news on playing the PTS.
Is it worth getting underground? My main is terribly under geared.
Did a darkzone run with a full fireteam tonight. Encountered an unkillable rogue agent and lost all our stuff. How is the memory editing still not fixed?
Quite worth watching, nice to see the game is looking to be in a good state going forward. But could it be too little too late?

The launch date of the massive 1.4 update to The Division was revealed during today's State of the Game broadcast as October 25. Servers will be offline for a three-hour maintenance window beginning at 12:30 am PT/3:30 am ET, and while the size of the patch on PC isn't known, it will weigh in at around 11GB on the PS4 and 5.7GB on the Xbox One.
Nice! Can't wait. :D
Yeah, it's looking good what they've done with the game. Kudos to them, just hope they still have a player base.
