that sucks MS where is live as well hey!!!
Live will never come to SA. We have been waiting for over 3 years now. Blu-Ray is just another snub. Don't get me wrong I would never get rid of my XBOX, but sooner or later I am gonna have to fork out for a bigger HD.
Do you use your harddrive? Most of my friends with Xbox 360s find the harddrive to be useless. Unless you store movies and series and music on the drive.Quote:

Its not that big a "disaster". 8mb and 12mb line testing in SA is already finished and implementation is going to begin soon. We may be getting free line upgrades again similar to the ones we had a few years ago. This will make the biggest storage medium much more accessible to SA, the internet.
360 hard drive sizes and their price points are bigger problem IMO. The fact that you can't take a 2TB SATA and pop it into your 360 as the firmware won't allow it doesn't help.

Imagine how much the Blu-Ray X360 consoles would cost ? ! ?
It would probably be the same price as a PS3 ( Original ) ! ! !
What about game prices.
I would die if I had to pay R800 for Splinter Cell or any game for that matter ! !
Most of the people I know wud never buy an extra external drive, just to watch blu ray movies.
Rather put in some more cash and get the real thing.
I think Microsoft took all this into consideratoin and said F@#k it !

How sweet would it be if Microsoft would allow you to use external HDD's as storage space for installing games? Or better yet, why not make it as easy to upgrade a 360's HDD as it is to upgrade the PS3's! That would be loads better.
My 20GB is filled up with XBL Arcade games and Tiger Woods 10 install. My XB is now 3 years old, and the DVD drive is sounding comprehensively dodgy. :|Quote:

In case you wondering why I dont use it, I have 4TB of disk space on my PC, more then enough for my movie and music needs. I also have a Mede8er media player with a 2TB hard drive, so dont really use the iOmega. If XBOX come out with this firmware update I will be really happy.
