It is interesting that the player would be given the opportunity to fight the "Ape Giant'', if I can recall, he had a brief appearance in the chapters that I read. They never actually fought him, well, not in those chapters that I read. He also never made an appearance in the series, so I guess they have not only incorporated the series but the manga chapters that postdate the series as well. But the again, I haven't read the manga in years, I could be wrong.
