SEGA Europe Ltd. and SEGA of America, Inc. are proud to announce that a wide selection of evergreen games from the legendary SEGA Genesis platform are making their way on to PC via digital distribution.

The initial group of titles being made available consists of fan favourites such as Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin, Comix Zone and Vectorman. All these classic SEGA titles will be available from $2.99.

“It’s exciting to be able to offer these classic games to a new audience” said Nick Pili, Network Business Director at SEGA Europe. “Delivered via our digital partners, every PC owner can now enjoy these timeless masterpieces whenever they want!”

The first set of SEGA Genesis games for PC are set to release 1st June on Steam and other digital distribution networks.

I know that this is their intellectual property and that they can do with it what they like, but I feel that they are being greedy
by still trying to make money off these games so many years later.

I 'd be more impressed with SEGA if they had announced that they were adding these titles to the public domain, something
I think should happen with Nintendo's catalogue of 20th century games too.

Cool idea, but a little pricey IMO.

Golden Axe Streets of Rage and Shinobi /yesplease :p

I use to own all those titles. So I will not be paying for it again.

Its $3, R23+-, its not exactly expensive... I'm looking forward to it, golden axe for sure!

for the love of god if you don't like then don't use it, but some of is would like to use this without a bunch of fu*** going on and on like crowing roosters.
