I suspect the performance difference will be a hell of a lot more than "slight".
Gaming laptops hit thermal thresholds really fast.
It is known. Although limiting your frame rate does help quite a bit, I recall Nvidia and AMD both having technology that slows down the GPU depending on the workload which helped with cooling.Quote:
