Just Cause 2 Lag

Well.. just wondering.. who has played Just Cause 2 here?

I installed the demo and everything works perfectly.... (default settings - mostly high - some stuff off @ 1680x1024 (i think) res.

Benchmark runs at 60 frames per second the entire time (vsync) but in the game itself when playing and blowing stuff up etc and driving a car and going fast entering towns or whatever I get lag.

Not the video lag you expect but it seems like it is maybe overloading the CPU? Whats up here?

Its a combination of Video/Ram Lag actually
Everything in these stupid sandbox titles is streamed through RAM, so whenever you see lag its typically loading area data or video textures.

try lowering you res abit and see what happens ! what i do is i'll rather game at a lower res with all effects on that at a higher res with effects off

Or get a GTX480 and run lag free with everything maxed!! :-)
