with what game and which characters did you feel real attachment/feelings ?

for one, i've developed this real soft spot for jaheira from buldars gate series as i totally fell for that character :D. i still think fondly of jaheira:love::o

some game's characters... i don't know just grab you and you do feel attached to them and develop some sort of feeling(s) towards them.

another example was at the end dark forces where i was the dark jedi, i totally felt that loneliness and emptiness.

lastly my cleric from nevewinternights in the waterdeep mod, well there is just no argument with the high priestess of talos, jade owned you and i loved that char in all her glory with malice on the side.

i'm quite curious as to what you felt towards some characters be it love/hate or some sort of attachment to them and from which games :)

Nico Bellic from GTA IV - something about that game just really grabs me. I love it to bits.

I'd have to go with the only game that actually made me cry. Metal Gear Solid, especialy Hal and Myrel from the 1st game.

Madison from Heavy Rain. When i couldn't stop her from dying I felt physically distraught, so much so that I stopped playing the game for a week.

StarKiller from Force Unleashed with his struggle between love and loyalty to Vader.

During my first play through of Fable 2 I encountered a bug, I married the woman named Alex from that Vengeful Ghost quest and we had a daughter. When I went to the spire she left, but the for some reason the girl remained in the house but didn't react when i tried to interact with her and I really felt like the father with an estranged daughter.

Um yeah. Like I've said before, heavy rain was a really awesome game, possibly the best I've ever played and it was a serious emotional experience in terms of me reflecting on how I myself would have reacted in those situations. But to say I've ever felt any emotions towards the characters I've played, well no. I suppose I can understand where you are coming from, but they are only fictional pixels after all! :D

I felt very attached to my never winter nights character.

When she got hurt by the grenade by Harry I felt so terrible and then when it looked like she dies in the Tibetan monestary then I felt really sad.

Mass Effect 2! Definitely the best game ever. The last mission is epic and that soundtrack.... Loved the characters! They were very real.
