Septerra Core, worst game of all time
A) - The player is required to collect bread to heal himself, the healing animation is of you throwing the bread into the air and then miraculously you are healed :/
B) - Vector based Map system, no markers, vector lines on a black background
Those two made the game unplayable for me
As a side note, I once tried to heal a cut on my hand by throwing a bread roll in the air, I can confirm that this is not the correct way of implementation for foodstuff as a Medkit.
The roll was not absorbed into my system healing me to full health, but instead bounced off and left baking powder on my hair (Portuguese Roll)
The game blows, a fact that I will never let Spartan forget a he gave it to me to play :/
I have a brilliant idea! I'll buy you a rocket launcher and you can use it to give yourself enough thrust to jump over a very wide... moat for example... I mean seriously, that's like someone saying that X-Men was more realistic than X-Men 3 (and yes, I have heard that spoken aloud before). It's a game and "suspension of disbelief" is kind of a requirement.
I grabbed what I thought was Time Crises 3 from a trading shelf and turned out it was the most awful Time Crises clone, I cant remember the name, I had to block it from memory to recover lol. Learned a valuable lesson, always look at what you're doing...
Need for Speed Pro Street also comes to mind as one of the worst.
Xmen Origins Wolverine for PS2.
Oh and GTA4, I just cannot stand the way that Niko turns when he walks, the controls are awful and I still have not played further than a few missions, it pains me to do so.
So many bad games!!!
Note: I'm still sticking with Dead eye Jim (ps2) as my worst game.
Bulletwitch was pretty darm useless...
Soldier of Fortune Payback. Yikes.
Do you guys remember a game called "Trespasser"?
You played as this chick on an island full of dinosaurs, and I remember that it was one of the first FPS games where you could actually see your body. It was this chick with big boobs with a tatoo of a heart on her one boob. You could pick up guns in both your hands and then aim them individually with the most frustrating aiming system in the land. Was a cool idea, but the game sucked hard.
I just remember it being frustrating as hell. Grab a shotgun and a pistol (ammo was really, really scarce) and just run around, looking for high places to get away from the raptors. Then trying to aim with that skeel (afrikaans) hand and missing the whole time, wasting your ammo. Aaargh!
Need for speed underground 1 and 2 I hated. I am a old school nfs player. Loved the second one and the third one. And high stakes was the best.
One man's spam is another man's porn.
I've played and owned every single nfs title to date, even Motor city online. Well PC based NFS games.
My favourites.
NFS II SE
NFS 4 HS
UnderGround 1
Prostreet
Shift
lol, i actually really liked carbon :)
lol i dont get what was so bad about carbon? i liked the racing system, where you have to take over areas, i liked the different kinds of races like speed camera and drift and whatever, and i liked the "boss" system.
i thought it was really cool, lol.
It was really cool, yes, it was so much more sofphisticated than any previous NFS, but it all just came together less than splendidly. The races seemed much more like a chore than the previous game and the fact that the police was a minimal part of the game made it seem less fun than Most Wanted. Even Most Wanted felt a little lacking compared to underground in certain aspects such as the looks of the car was again a minimal part of the game.
Thats one of my gripes with EA, theres allways something big and new in the game, but it tends to drown out what we loved from the previous games.
So many bad games...
