Also, once you get used to that, how do you go back to being able to play normally/honestly. Its a downward spiral I think.

Exactly. If it's not changeable by default, it's not meant to be changed.

I'm very outspoken about hacking, I absolutely detest it. I have absolutely NO respect whatsoever for someone that cheats in a game in any way. Grow some balls and get some honour. Learn the hard way and practise like everyone else. Leave to scripts and macros to the people that eventually want to receive their overdue kick in the teeth by some pissed off gamers at a LAN.

If you cheat in games, chances are you are a dishonest person in life too.

mm i called this one, played against him a few times.I even got some of my friends to join to confirm this.
we didnt really think hax was out by then.

Oh dude, many, many others.. It's hard to tell these days. Dishonesty seems to be prevalent these days. Excuse the negativity, but it's true. When you have been playing FPS games for years, you know your skill. If someone joins the community and plays like a noob, you know- OK, this guy is a new player. Then a week later he becomes so good that you can barely compete against the oke. Then you freakin' know. I've seen this countless times.

I used to be in SS from the beginning and left due to me not liking some of the new members BUT i have to say, you won't find many nicer, and people with true sportmanship, than SS players. Good on you for kicking the little twat out of your clan.

Yeah must say I really enjoy playing agains the SS guys and most of them are good so my skill level also improves. So glad you kicked a hacker.

PS what do you have to do to join ss?

Pretty disappointing.

We basically work by invite only. Ie, people we know and have mostly actually met. That way we know the okes joining are more than simply online mates, but also friends in real life. This also helps to eliminate, well mostly eliminate the element of getting idiots who join and then proceed to drag our name through the mud. Not getting random fools joining. Also, it's not written in stone, but we avoid recruiting youngsters, as there is almost always some kind of scenario that rears it's head. We prefer to get older folks who are no longer in school and have some maturity.

No disrespect mate, but if you so good, why could you not provide proof of your genius?

Clearly we don't tolerate hackers, but we also can't stand these Hack Police who also proclaim to be the best hacker spotters in the world, but when asked to deliver so shred of proof, there are thousands of excuses.

Now I'm not saying nobody hacks, it just drives me nuts when you playing and these okes are writing novels about so & so hacking or OMG HACKER. Shut the fuck up rather, take a screen shot or a video clip, report it to relevant people and enjoy the satisfaction when so & so is banned, rather than illustrate to everyone else what a nanar you are.
