Bethesda first did it with Arena and now Daggerfall. Although I never got far with Daggerfall, I'll definitely play it again. The dungeons were very atmospheric - although I got totally lost in them and the mapping feature didn't help much ... You'll need to fiddle with DOS Box to get it going...
