    Default New Laptop

    Hey everyone.

So my dad's given me R10 000 to get a new laptop with. Currently, this seems like the best buy: Potential New Lappy

Just want to know what you guys think, if this is a good buy or not, and if you know of better deals. Additionally, would you think it's safe enough to purchase something this expensive over the net? (I'm hoping so because I refuse to touch foot in Incredible Corruption or other retail stores.)

    Much thanks.

Hey powder what are you going to use it for and how big can you carry?

The one you linked they only giving you a 32bit OS where as you got 4gigs of ram.

Found something similar but more of a gaming pc. Since well you are a gamer

As for the safer part. Take 2 and Kalahari are great online shops so I would say its safe its when you go with a new site that's when problems start appearing.

Thanks Waco, just two questions: is Lenovo a good brand? And, secondly, is the graphics card better than the one on the Samsung?

    http://www.laptopdirect.co.za/laptop...maxprice=10000 in your price range.

And you might be able to get a better laptop if you don't need lets say the OS or something you already have.

IBM Lenovo is a good make not so sure about samsung yet since they pretty new in the laptop business.

The Lenovo looks great! I have never played with a Samsung Notebook, so I can't offer any comment. But I've used a couple of Lenovo's over the years and they are great. They are also really sturdy and rugged so you can like take them camping and stuff! :-P

You want this one. You'll even get 5c change. You'd be quite surprised to find that Incredible Corruption, despite being ridiculously expensive in most departments, are often the cheapest when it comes to Laptops. They often get exclusives which suppliers are not even allowed to stock. I won't buy anything other than laptops from them either.
