    Angry Black ops Issue

As the thread says , I am having major issues getting this game to work properly, I tried it on both my pc's and both systems exceed the minimum requirements and still im getting major lag and extra long loading times.

Both systems have the latest updated catalyst Drivers, and i have also installed practically all the patches for the game. No other games on my pc's (that are more graphically intensive and have higher system requirements) are giving any issues like this.

None of my components are overclocked. antivirus installed on both pc's MS Security essentials

    System 1
    Phenom2 x4 940 3.0Ghz Black Edition
    8 Gigs Ram
    2x sata 1.5 TB samsung spinpoint HDD's
    XFX Radeon 5850 1GB DDR 5
    7 Professional 64

    System 2
    AMD Athlon II x4 620 2.6ghz
    2gig DDR 2 800
    Powercolor Radeon 5570 512mb
640Gig Western Digital Caviar Blue + 1x sata samsung spinpoint 1.5 TB HDD
    Win 7 Ultimate 32 Bit

Dude I'm also experiencing those issues even after all the updates and googling I could find on the problems... I also tried some of the methods that these guys have supplied but it looks like, the dev's only catered for people running the Core i series and higher modded GPU's... I think that they should have started at the bottom and fixed their way up... But who are we to say anything...

Anyways I'm also having the same problem

    Asus P5Q Deluxe
    4gig Ram
    Duo Core 3.2ghz
    Windows 7 (32)
    ATI 5670

By the looks of things, the game seems to over utilize the cpu to the max even if ur running on Idle and then run the game with no other programs interrupting and you will notice in Taskman that it does that...

Well Since the Last patch in december Using my Nvidia card its been smooth smooth sailing. THEN I made the FCUKING mistake of upgrading to an ATi 6870 this weekend.

Blackops - Microstutter, lag, super loading times (cant believe how a vga card affects this) Take out the ATI card and put the old Nvidia card back and the issues dissapear. Litterally with the ATi card in, my maps load longer, and when its fully loaded up it gets stuck for about 10 seconds then only enters the map, also getting freezes for up to 5 seconds on the server browser and friends lists. These are not present with Nvidia.

Also have microstutter and very wonky FPS drops in various other games using a plethora of different drivers and Hotfixes.

I was dissapointed and plagued by issues last time I used an ATi. I thought things would have changed but it hasn't. I'm not a happy man after the weekend as Im getting HORRIBLE gameplay in most of my games using this piece of Crap 6870

So ur experiencing this with the ATI card??

Is there anyone else whos using ATI that can concur besides us 3?? because if ATI seems to be the case then maybe its time to switch back over to good old Nvidia... I used the 8800GTS before it finally died after 4yrs and ja I switched to ATI, but now im starting to regret that...

Dude take it like this. This weekend my mate upgraded his mobo, cpu and ram and bought EXACTLY what I got, but he kept his GTX260 (which by now is very old)

    ANYHOO.

I build his pc for him, install blackops, configure and it runs 100s. install my Newly acquired GAYTi card and rip out my old nvidia card, do the drivers and immediatly have issues.

Hhhmmm I'll drop TM a line and ask him to get a hold of the MD of ATI SA and find out if they know about these issues and maybe we can find a fix here in SA...

Bra ek het net kak met die kaart. Look my MAXFPS is amazing you can see the card has raw power. Blackops 1920x1200 with 4xAA and details on EXTRA im hitting 300+ FPS in places (and i'm not kidding)
With unlocked FPS in cod4 i'm hitting over 900 (will even bring the screenies)

But its stuttery / laggy and its onconsistent cause it will drop (even in cod4) to well below 60fps for quite alot of time then shoot back up.

Look hopefully its just drivers, the cards are rather new etc, I know for a fact that its the second time I have been burned by the Red GAYTi devil, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy ATi again.

I have an ATI card and can safely say that I am in the same boat as all the rest, I'm not going to switch to Nvidia purely for one game, heres to hoping they can release a patch or fix the problem in the next ati driver update.

    I'm running:

    Asus p55 board.
    i7 870 overclocked to about 3.6
    8Gb ram
    ATI 5870

Never once had any issue with this game in terms of lag or stutters etc.

Maybe all those scaley cfgs you okes are runnning are the problem?
