Its the alesis x. I've been playing acoustic guitar for a while now and would like to make the jump to electric, seeing as I'm a beginner this guitar seems to be a nice "noob" guitar.

Is it too gimmicky? Am I better off purchasing another guitar and then getting the pedal fx later? I love it coz its got everything built in and I can plug a set of headphones in and play without driving everyone else to drink.
