the reason i chose the games i did.

Freespace: FS 2 ended in a open method which left space for a sequel.

Descent: descent 3 was cool but didn't capture the fun of 2

Starlancer: very fun space sim but the ending was open ended and the bs short version of it in Freelancer was crap...

Battlezone (1998 version): now this was a ground breaking game, it properly mixed RTS and FPS in a fun way, the 1999 pandemic sequel was crap and should not exist, sadly the ip is owned by activision

and honorable mention: Tachyon the Fringe: Novalogic's first and only foray into space sims was fun and looked great for the time, need another one

I would love to see Homeworld 1 & 2 re made for sure! Or hell even a Homeworld 3.
