Stalker has a weird hold on me hey, I dunno what it is. I got the game when it just came out, finished it very frustrated (bugs, performance stuff etc)
About a year ago, with stalker being old hat, I installed it again along with the slew of patches and added some brilliant gameplay mods to it. I loved every second of it (again) completed it then just deleted the game.Oddly though, I never really liked Clear Sky.Now about a year on, I got the urge to yet again play the game again. It's probably because I have allways loved the tales surrounding Chernobyl, and have countless books and some recorded TV programs on thet incident.
The only thing that I really dislike about the game, is the linearity. Eventhough it's "open world" you still have to go from A, pass through B to get to C, there is no way straight to C, if I can put it like that. Traversing back and fro' the whole time rather killed the game for me, also the lack of "life" like traders, friends etc in the game was abit iffy.
