A full day and a bit to suggest a game - seems reasonable to me. If it was announced too soon, perhaps people would put it off and forget about it. The story will have disappeared from the MyGaming front page by tomorrow morning as well, so I personally think they hit a good window to make a 'last chance' announcement.
