The irony here is that you don't quite seem to understand what constituted "piracy" (read: copyright infringement). Buy second-hand games? Well done, you've just done the equivalent of piracy. Make use of a library? Well done, you've just committed another socially-acceptable copyright infringement. Lend or borrow games? You guessed it, copyright infringement.

I've done this argument to death already and I've argued both sides of the spectrum yet I remain in defence of piracy.

It's a stale topic because it's like arguing religion. If you're under its self-righteous brimstone and fire spell (either 100% for or 100% against) you're too blind to see the opposing sides. I've said before, it's a grey area and it is my personal conclusion that it does more good than bad.

Or, to translate into how you're interpreting this, "Blah blah blah, I support piracy, I'm a thief, blah blah blah, I should be in prison, blah blah blah, fined a fortune, blah blah blah."

Oh, and if you really feel like judging me, let me know when you feel like comparing game or book collections and see who supports developers and publishers more in the long-run, mmkay?

Actually, no, I take that back. That would just be lowering myself to the equivalent a cock-measuring contest and petty argument while ignoring the reality which, I'm guessing, is exactly what you types want
You have missed the plot completely here, dude.

Sorry if I did not make my point clear enough in my post, but what I meant so say is that we cannot just ignore something because it's "getting stale". That's what I said. I don't want a cock-measuring contest, wtf dude, I'm not like that, thank you please.

As a side note, I have also pirated games in my life- but buying them feels good. It feels good to support the developers that make the games that you love to play. That is all.

Now, if you can kindly step away from the mirror with your ruler, I would appreciate that greatly.
