I wouldn't call the music kick ass, it was the first few notes of the Goonies sound track over and over, ad nauseum and a horrible 8bit rendition of it, great for the first 2 minutes but then it's turn sound off. Great games of the time were Ultimate Air Combat, Formula One - Built to Win, even the NES Jurassic Park wasn't to bad (I had it on my Gameboy), yes I did have the Goonies when I was a kid but the copy I had was such a horrible chinese pirate the sprites were all wrong most of the time.
The Crusader series of games brings back plenty of memories, and the old point and clicks, like Dementia, Toonstruck and various others, my brother and I would spend countless holiday time getting through those.
Right up until Dawn of War my bro and I used to lan games and play PS2 till late until he moved to the UK.
