Is it kind of like Sony Entertainment's new forum setup? A score system (vote thumbs up or down) for each topic, and the one with the most score shows on top? The reason I really dislike this is because when I make a post on SOE's DCUO forums, my topic shows up on about the 4th page. Though it might not be such a problem here because of less spam.

Nope ... this is user-based only. And I don't think there is any kind of ranking involved - it's just intended to add a little extra functionality to the forum which in a way gives people an idea of any particular user's popularity and/or ummm ... I suppose, helpfulness on the forum.

So if a guy has a long green bar, then you can probably guess that he/she/(it? ) is being generally helpful and well-mannered, and if it's red you can bet the user spends most of his time being an ass.
