Haven't played COD 5 and will skip 6/Vietnam. Modern Warfare has been the only war game that really spoke to me so i'll wait for Modern Warfare 2. If i think COD5 the first thing that comes to mind is the Nazi Zombies.
Like someone else said, there haven't really been that many Vietnam setting games and the ones there are, are crud .... so I'll give it a bash just for a change of scenery.

I still play cod4 after purchasing cod5, I will wait for modern warfare 2. Vietnam could be fun although it seems like the COD franchse is running out of innovation.
