Was afraid of something like this. Juvenile over the top violence can only carry a title so far.
I think the gametrailers.com review summed it up well for me. Technically Brilliant with top notch Presentation that will only appeal to you if you can make peace with the goofy, juvenile script.

Anyway.. I don't think this game is worth missing. There aren't a lot of refreshing shooters these days. Singularity also did not have high expectations and the story was also a bit corny, but it was still the most fun I had with a shooter in a long time.
I think this game is going to rock and I can't wait to own and play it. I'm a big fan of People Can Fly and Epic games so- I'm very excited.

Dude, I think you worry too much. What ever happened to just having some pointless fun? How can the novelty wear off too quickly? First of all, it's a shooter- awesome! That's already fun. Then, these guys are doing something new-ish, and from the gameplay videos- it does look like so much fun. In fact, I think that this might just be a game that I can play 'till the end, unlike so many other boring games.

If it wasn't for borderlands's co-op I would never have finished it. Killing for the sake of killing is pointless and while it has that "hehe awesome" factor that wears off. After a while you are left with a goofy, necessarily vulgar, plot. Will it be fun, no doubt about it, how long will it be fun... 6 - 8 hours, maybe less if your more cerebral.

No dude, I just think that while this game might not be for everyone, I'm going to have a lot of fun with it. As long as there are enough guys to kill and bossfights to keep me entertained, I'm going to love playing this game. When I want to think while playing an FPS game I'll go play BF games, but for some relaxing fun this is just what I need.
Not all games can be serious dude.
