I would agree that I would not have payed $20 for the game.
I'd agree, that $20 would've felt a bit too risky for an unknown developer and $20 would've been risky not knowing how the co-op was (demos don't really show off everything, eh?) considering that was one of the biggest attractions to me. However, after playing it, I can comfortably say it would've been well worth $20.
