Help fund local vampire slayer movie
The producers of Bloedsuiers, a new South African movie currently in production, are proposing a bold new strategy to secure funding – they are calling on fans to become investors in the movie.
It's not a such a new thing for the public to fund local movies. Tim Green did the same thing with 'Twist' a few years back.
Considering that South Africans don't support South African movies in the least, it's not surprising directors rely on this method. All the budgets seem to go to Darryl Roodt and Leon Schuster.
Wouldn't put money into this if it was the last movie ever made :O
