    I have the G35's as well for over a year now and still as awesome as they day I got them. The Roccats are also very good and slightly cheaper. R899 @ www.computersonly.co.za

    The G35's are abt R1100. What I love about them is the USB. Simply plug them in in front and voila. No having to sukkel whenever you want to rather use your speakers and now you have to mission behind the PC to unplug and replug speakers every time. The cable is also very long, so nice reach there. The sound quality is brilliant. Really a very good set all round.

    The Roccats as I've said are also highly rated. I haven't used them myself, but at least 8 of my mates have them and love them.

    So either way you cant go wrong.

    I see that the G35s are a USB headset, does that make a sound card redundant?

    I think so. . . .They use their own on board processor as far as I know.

    Yeah I'm pretty sure it's got it's own sound card.

    The Corsairs HS1 have got good reviews, good value and are 7.1 as well. Anyone have experience of them?
