    Default Gaming headset

    Hi there.

My steelseries headset died on me waiting for RMA and man it's taking forever so I decided not to wait for new ones and just get myself new headset instead. Waht is the best gaming headset out there today. Just a note it must also be good for music. I can spend about R1K max.

So for me what a waste of money sending it back to steelseries never going to buy another steelseries product ever.

Whatever you do, do not buy a Logitech G35. Mine lasted 3 months before it the plastic that hold the earphones broke on the left side. They even admitted that it was weak in that spot, but they refused to replace it. Bastards.

ok anything lse then. Doesn't have to be 5.1. The steelseries siberia was good just the RMA is a long Process so I'm looking for new ones while I wait for my steelseries to arrive next year..lol. I'm using my crappy Zalman and my ears can't take them. My head is starting to heard after 2min of putting them on.

depends on what you looking for. for example the steelseries is king on being comfortable, i've gotten a set a while a go and is a lot lighter on the head than the roccat. the roccat imho is the best 5.1 with mic.

I have had my G35's for well over a year now and they are amazing. . .

To0ks you sure you weren't just flinging them across the room?

Personally I would highly recommend the G35's, they are solid, great sounding headphones.

Lol, I'm definitely sure. I treated that thing like gold I'm kinda sad about it though because the sound coming out of those bad boys was like heaven. Maybe I was just unlucky to get one that failed like that, but the thing that pissed me off very much is that they didn't want to replace it.

Yeah that is bs, even after admitting it.

Did you email Logitech and make a fuss? That might, might get you somewhere.

The thing is, I don't know who to mail or phone to make a fuss. I tried looking for a Logitech SA website or something but I couldn't find any contact details that looked worthwhile contacting (service desk). So I'm kinda stumped..
