This guy has been a disaster from the beginning and maybe 1 day someone will be able to remove him from the local scene and it can be given over to someone more compitent and reliable. All that Colin can rely on is finding people that dont know about him (generally outside the local/online scene) and getting them to play his leagues. That is not productive or in the gamers best interest at all so... GET OFF THAT DEAD HORSE THAT U CONTINUE TO ATTEMPT TO RIDE AND HAND THIS OVER TO SOMEONE WHO HAS AT LEAST A MINISCULE AMOUNT OF RESPECT IN THE LOCAL SCENE.
I promise you its for the greater good.

look he is a nice guy, but stop being so stubbon. Learn when to walk away seriously...
U tried, u failed, pick urself up and try something new. Stop being so tight-fisted, hand the reins over to some1 else. U can still be in the backround, but ur name is tarnished beyond repair.

Lols all round on this article.
There have been a few threads on the SGS forums where gamers have tried to get answers from MSSA and tried to bring about a positive change in attitude towards MSSA. Unfortunately the "answers" were the same as always. I speak from personal experience (however limited) with MSSA and according to Mr Webster's statement about
"Yes, certainly the MSSA does make mistakes at times, but it also tries to correct such mistakes."
Well I logged a complaint in 2007 and to this day it has not been resolved. Mr Webster will say that it is because I failed to re-register with MSSA and pay more fees. That is correct because they "lost" my registration forms, etc.
MSSA actually has very little to offer gamers in South Africa, unless the green jacket is what motivates you to game. As we have seen recently, even people banned by PunkBuster and VAC can still be selected to represent South Africa in an international match.
I am in no way trying to discourage people from joining MSSA! All I want to ask is that anyone considering it, PLEASE make sure you read ALL of their rules and by-laws (in fact get someone with a legal background to read it for you). By joining up, you may hamper your clan/team's ability to get sponsorship and you open yourself up to ridiculous fines.
The only question I would like an answer to is, How many presidents has MSSA had since it's formation?
Already leaning towards "No thanks." :/
The BF2 comps was supposed to start at 3pm (IIRC) and we only started at 11pm. A lot of clans came through from all over the country and had to leave before it even started. Some clans had players that were in the middle of exams who's parents came to pick them up. Out of the five or six clans that came only two stayed till the end.
Now that I remember it my clanmates and I decided to get some drinks. We finished like two cases of Zamalek quarts while we waited...... fun times.....![]()
