Default Need a console for a night

Anyone want to loan me one?

Alternatively, suggestions of places that rent out consoles and games in CT, please. Preferably on the southern suburbs side of the world.

    TIA!

Reason for wanting it: Throwing the bf a surprise bday party, and decided to go with a sort of back to childhood, things kids love theme. Want to get a console and some games for added entertainment, since very few of the crowd actually drink. And I know that they all love gaming and challenging each other, which they haven't been able to do in a while since no one has a console anymore.

Thanks for the suggestion of Signals. My searching eventually turned them up; looks like a good option.

While I have your attention, what options (console and games) would be good for a party? I don't want something where the games go on forever. I assume stuff like Guitar Hero would be a good option. Aren't Wii games pretty short too?

Whatever platform, we have to get Mario games, though. He claims I'm the only kid who didn't play it in the '80s.

AvatarS if your plans are just for a funfilled evening you might be better off with the Wii its more focused on the casual gamer and it has more "pick up and play" games.

Signals also rents out Wii sorry I shouldve posted their number for you.

Other question is how big is your "entertainment" area what TV you using how much people are you expecting ?

Games like guitar hero / singstar are all extremely fun party games but just getting hold of the equipment will be an issue.

Search gumtree I cant post a link from work but theres a company in CT CBD that specialize in exactly what you looking for they do office parties etc etc and come complete with all their own equipment

Thinking of getting 2, now. A Wii for the more casual gamer, and something else for those who may want to get into it later.

    I've seen Signal's website, so that's cool

The area is all open plan, so a fair amount of space. I have a Sony Bravia lotsofnumbers. Around 20ish people, but I expect them to be all over the place inside, on the balcony, outside on the benches, etc. Doubt everyone will try to play at the same time.

I can never get a search right on Gumtree, please post if you can. Cost is also a consideration, as I'd rather get him more gifts than blow it all on the party.
