In short any connections to and from mweb is routed through servers in London.
making all traffic to mweb international!
Forcing anyone who has bought call of duty black ops to open a mweb account just so that they can play the game.

In other words just throw your R700 you would have paid for the game in the toilet (at least you save your petrol you would have used to go by the game from a store).

Surely there has to be something protecting us from this sort of forced bussiness.
Surely the "exclusive rights" should be removed from mweb.
What ever happened to equal opertunities.
I would love to know what the SAIX and IS gaming teams opinions are about this!!
M-Web is 100 percent correct in their termination of paid for transit links. Other major providers have followed suite. It's Telkom that is causing the problem. WebAfrica Johannesburg unfortunately is currently unable to peer at JINX however do peer at CINX.

Telkom needs to support open and public peering. Simple as that.

Edit: I did not read all the way down the thread - I see it may have been resolved - i.e OP sees its Telkom and not M-Web
