The community manager has stated on the official World of Warcraft forums that the new Blizzard MMO will be a new IP. I'd link to an existing article, but I'm sure Tinman would like to write his own![]()

I just hope it isn't cartoony. It would be nice if they go the realistic route instead of the cartoony art style of WoW.

Blizzard likes to keep their stuff open to casual that how you pull the most people so going the realistic route, especially visually, might not happen.
How can more realistic graphics turn a game into a non-casual-friendly game?
Starcraft 2, for example, looks rather beautiful graphically.

I agree with you there and i dont mean just coz it looks cooler it will be more hardcore oppose to casual.
However the hardware needs of better graphics come at a cost. Today you can run wow on almost any laptop maybe even some netbooks. Where as StarCraft II will be a little more resource hungry. If they can make this new title look good and still keep the requirements down then they will strike another gold mine. And knowing Blizzard they might just do that.
Wow System Requirments:
Windows Vista or Windows XP
Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP 1500+ 1300 MHz
512 MB or more of RAM (1 GB for Vista Users)
32 MB 3D video card with Hardware T&L or better
15 GB free HD space
4× CD-ROM drive
Broadband Internet connection
Say what you want about Blizzard, the guys are genius. I'm sure their next MMO will just boost them in the market yet again. Their presentation, storyline structure, all of it is just so damn appealing. Evil.
Couscous; the food so nice they named it twice
