This whole thing is way out of preportion

the hackers all all acting in a "we deserve better" manner, liek this is some dam political rally or revolution.

Yes than ran Linux of thier machines at one point, big whoop, the real reason is what we are seeing now, free and cheap software on the PS3.

No one has forced anyone to buy sony's console at all, so the act of "we wil get you" or "there is more to come" acting for some justice is just idiotic and it prooves there are alot of bored people out there.

If you dont agree witt the ethics or Sony's terms, dont buy the console! If it really bothers you so much and you already own one, go and sell it. Its the case of greed and "we can never have enough" for the majority of these "guy fawkes" kiddies they want to feel part of something.

Lets get down to the real reason why Sony is getting such an agressive attack on the by these hackers...

1. Sony is actively doing their best so stop unapproved software running on thier console by updates and any other measures they can impose

2. My Geohotz may say what he likes, he opened Pandora's box and he must deal with that, Sony will make an example of him and show that no one is above the law and besides its thier right to prosecute this bloke! If he had noble intentions perhaps he shouldve contacted sonly and said "hey i cracked your console, perhaps you guys might want to look into this, if you guys allow homebrew again i wont need to publish these keys and thus preventing the 'cracking' of your console". Instead he goes and shouts out all the keys to the world...so either he is stuiped (which i highly doubt) or he wanted homebrew and knew the consequences of what publishing these keys may do.

3. This is Sony's product, yes you brought it but go n read the T&C, again, you dont agree, dont buy!

4. the most important part is sony "biting back" at these hackers, usualy when something is cracked like a game, there is really little to no resistance for the hackers, if Sony is going donw, well their going down swining.

Time will tell where this whole debacle will lead, "play with fire and youre going to get burned"
