You have a fair point, sometimes it's better to keep things on paper than attempt to animate it. It can loose some of it's charm and character, but believe that progress is being made. Very often it's the lack of funding will prevent a series form ever forming or returning. Anime studios in Japan receive one tenth of what American animation production companies use for one episode, $100,000 vs. $1,000,000. Thankfully streaming services are helping the industry along, bringing anime to the west much faster.
