I've also heard a lot of good on it. I actually had it before my external died on me but never got around to watching it.

So true, sometimes when I see Code Geass in particular on lists meant for mecha anime it catches me off guard a bit. One that I remember being a bit different was Break Blade or Broken Blade, depending on where you're looking. It was a nice and short one, I didn't think much of it when I watched it but I still remember everything that went on so it left quite an impression on me.

Just waiting for my exams to end, and for our uncapped line to be installed, then I will delve into the copious amounts of anime the internet has to offer.
I haven't been watching for that long myself, I started watching seriously when I got to varsity and had all that free internet. But I've seen quite a few dubs from my childhood to know I loved anime from even before I knew what it was. Something about the animation style and the stories. In the half decade or so I've tried to sample as many genres as I could, even watched some anime where a chick shot acid out her nipple. But I know I haven't even scratched the surface.
