I got really irritated in Bleach. The first season was pretty epic, with Ichigo needing to come to terms with his new powers and learning to use them, and eventually beating some of the strongest fighters in Seireitei (Kenpachi, Byakuya etc). Fast forward a bit (where Orihime gets kidnapped) and he's fighting the Espada, and despite being uber-powerful gets his ass handed to him. Who comes and saves him - managing to kick the asses of the same guys who were giving Ichigo grief?
The same guys who he pounded in the first season :/ The same guys, who, in the interim, weren't going through special training. I had a healthy dose of WTF circling through my head - and eventually I just got irritated and stopped watching.
There's a reason a story has a beginning and an end, something the creators of Bleach and Naruto haven't latched onto yet.
