How does the less-than-average local internet experience affect the playability of World of Warcraft?

Ive got the uncapped option from Axxess, highly recommended, even if u got a 4mb line if u get a 384kb account, after hours 8-8 your account kicks in your full line speed. But back on topic, ive tried wow on 3 different accounts, Neotel for some reason had better ping times for me, roughly between 400-500 with a bit of shooting up to 2000 for about a minute. Havnt tried it on my uncapped option yet.

Also to improve your ping go to youtube and look up "how to hack your mmo ping" it worked for me dropping my latency by about 100.

I have tried virtually all connection options, and all have proven worthwhile at some stage of my addiction. From iBurst, to shaped, shaped+Gamemax, unshaped, 626, FNBConnect. But lately every single option has been performing so bad that I am considering to give up raiding.

Its the Internet issues that keep me from playing WOW.

I would play WOW if the bandwidth costs were cheaper and if the latency was lower.

    Very nice read Mr Tinman.
I recently started playing Worl of kung fu, and the latency is actually pretty good. You guys should check it out.
