No 3rd person mate . Portal is one of those games that if you get sick just playing CoD then you will absolutely puke all over the bloody place in Portal 2.

    Sorry mate!

I used to have huge problems with FPS motion sickness - you should maybe try sitting further back from the TV. It worked for me.

Yeah, like Azimuth sed. Have a friend who couldn't play Descent (back in the ol' days) cause 'cause of the same problem. Sorry, man.

How does motion sickness actually work with gaming. Find it interesting. I've only once felt dizzy or whatever and htat was IMAX with everest special.

i can only hazard a guess that it's the constant undamped shifting of the camera that brings on the nausea.
In a 3rd person game, the camera is a lot more damped.
People have asked me how i can play racing games in FPS mode (i.e. where you only see the road and not the car), but even in a racing game using that view, the camera angle doesn't constantly change the way an FPS shooter does

Actually had to check what undamped means... Interesting. Glad I don't experience anything like that.

I use to also have issues with headaches and sometimes motion sickness symptoms until I got my 32" Sony. Perhaps try a bigger screen and sit a bit further away?

The developers of Portal said that they left out an entire gameplay mechanic of walkin up surfaces because that made testers really dizzy. That would have really messed you up!
