MSI Geforce NX7900 GTX vs Zotac Geforce 9600GT

Hi guys

I've had my MSI Geforce NX7900 GTX since 2005 and I was thinking that it's time for an upgrade. But since there's the good chance there'll be directX 11 GPU's out in december I'm thinking of doing a minor upgrade to the Zotac Geforce 9600GT.

So what I'd like to know is if you guys think it's worth it buying the 9600GT or if there's another card out there that will beat the 9600GT and cost roughly the same price. Right now it's going for R 1,112 at Take2.

I upgraded from a 7800GTX to a 9600GT about a year ago. My frame rates doubled in all my games. For a grand, I would say it's a good deal

yup the 7900 and 7800 cards were UBER powerfull, but a 9600GT clobbers them man, by far!

I got a 9600GT and im loving it. Get good frames and no stuttering in all the games i have played. Also that price is insane so well worth it in my opinion.

That would just be a bit ludicrous don't u think I've got COD, Demigod, Dawn of War and a few others. WoW's just the only game I play the most because I can't get a ping below 300 on local servers for COD

The difference will be quite substantial, I'd definitely go for it. I remember going from my 7600GS to my 8800GT, was like night and day .
