Default Wii Fit Close to Breaking Records in the United Kingdom

"The United Kingdom videogame charts have the same leader this week as during the previous one. Wii Fit, the exercise game from Nintendo that comes packed with a Balance Board, has been sitting at number one for no less than seven weeks.

Research firm Chart Track, which puts together the top 20 for each week, is saying that the game which lasted most at the top of the chart has been the Eidos made Who Wants to be a Millionaire, basically a computer version of the famous television program.

FIFA 09 from EA Sports has taken the second position, climbing one spot from third. The reasons for the revival of the game in the United Kingdom is the players' desire to replicate the drama that matches the competition.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is at number three, down one place, and Call of Duty: World at War is at number four, with Mario Kart Wii sitting at number five, a full year after it was launched world wide by Nintendo.

Resident Evil 5 is still selling well, even if it was released back in March, as people seem to be really interested in taking out zombies. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is on seven, while Professor Layton and Curious Village hangs around at number eight. Wii Play is way down in ninth position, and Battlestations: Pacific, published by Eidos, is the only new entry, at number ten.

The surprise is that, one year after its initial launch, Grand Theft Auto IV has re-entered the top 20 in the last place, possibly because some players are interested in picking up the game in preparation for the release of the second DLC for the Xbox 360, which might be revealed at the E3 trade show."

I laugh at the people in the TV adverts whenever I see them. They just look like such nutters squatting and stuff.

/Beats Joker over the head with a Wii Balance Board.

Leave us Wiitards to our fun!

I do agree that the Wii is overpriced, which is why I got mine second hand for around the same price one would pay for a PS2.

I cannot do the balance exercises and cheat with the jogging game by walking briskly, but I am making some progress in other areas. I'm not too bad at Yoga.
