Well I haven't actually tried it since I've got a 64 bit OS but there's supposed to be three different packages. With the one being free.

Thanks for reminding about this site. Checked it a few years ago. Could not get anything to work coz of a lot restrictions back then. This time though I installed GameTap and downloaded Metal Slug and had quite a blast, so to speak. The adds are annoying, especially the big banner while playing in full screen. Also its definitely not as fast MAME is.

Brilliant site as far as a gaming concept goes. I like the whole gaming atmosphere generated by the site and console. The leaderboard and challenge picks could also make for some really good finger-blisterin gaming times.

Though I still get the same "not available in your country, blah, blah, 2007" screen when attempting to get a TapID.

Does anyone know if it is possible to acquire a TapID from the states or Canada and then log on via the console into the challenge lobbies?

I have no idea if it's changed now but it seems that you can d/load the games ...... I guess someone will just have to try it and report back.
