EA: Battlefield 3 superiority, Mass Effect 3 delay, SW:ToR date, digital future

During an investor call EA discusses Mass Effect 3 delays, trumping CoD, SW:ToR release date and their digital future

...boasting that Battlefield 3 is superior in every way to anything that will come from Activision’s Call of Duty franchise

I'm going to reserve my judgement on that statement for now, but I do honestly think EA have a good chance. Apart from that brief 2142 escapade, Battlefield has only been getting better with each release, while CoD's last release got some very mixed reactions. Add to that the fact that EA hasn't been screwing over their development teams like Activision's (allegedly) done - they have a fair amount of strength to bank on.

Okay, so the C&C franchise didn't come out of it too well - but I've got high hopes for BF3 - I hope they do take the FPS crown away from Activision for a change. It's never good to have a single dominating player.
