The COD Clan scene

Hi Guys / Gals (if there are any here :P)

I've read a few articles and herd about clans playing COD. I'd like to know if any of you can give me some info regarding this unknown phenomenon to me.

- Where do you guys play?
- How many people are there in a clan?
- What sort of requirements are there to join a clan? (I'm sure this is clan specific but a general idea will do...and yes, I know skill will be one of them).
- How often do you play?

I know these questions may be difficult to answer specifically but I know nothing of the scene and I'd like to possibly get in on some of the action. I've never been to any of the LAN weekends like Carnage or the sort and I'm sure that would be a good place to start but could you guys give me any pre-Carnage info?

Which COD dude? U should chat with Maplassie he's in a clan.
Me @ Mappy and a few other guys spend our evenings on the Gamezone COD5 server playing teamdeath match. If ur new to online multiplayer its a good place to start. Its a local server so its gentle on ur cap.
Im new to online MP scene myself so i can't give u any more info.

WEll online play is basically the only way you are going to get into a clan, Unless you frequent big lans where some clans are present.

Most clans take on casual players with no issues. But if you want to make it into the leagues/compos you better be one of the best.

Some new startup clans, I have seen one or 2 threads here in general and PC gaming, will welcome anybody in

Clans can range from 2-3 players to 99999999 players.

our Clan ( CraK ) has something like 50 players, most of wich are casual.

IF you play competition COD, you need 6 players, with 2-3 reserve players!

I play every night of my life, around 5-6 hours playtime. And Every weekend.

anything under 80 is perfect, anything under 150 is playable, over that you will start to suffer alot!

Fibre?!? What are you, part of the oppenheimer family?!? I assume you just mean adsl/copper cable aka a normal phone line.
