I totally agree with tooks and couldnt agree more... If a woman can't accept you for you then like he said their moer . I date enough to know the difference between the crazies, the ones who are not willing to put in the effort and the ones that see things in a different light... Woman are unstable as I see it and this world will never have the perfect one for us guys, but I guess we just gotta live with what is handed to us...

I'm with to0ks on this, as well as Tsar and Syco. I'm hopelessly old-fashioned in this respect, but I think if I just randomly sleep around with girls or have "friends with benefits" I'll carry some sort of burden of guilt around with me for the rest of my life. I'm one of those guys who probably shouldn't pass up his chances of getting some action because they don't come around all that often (certified socially awkward geek here), but they have come, and I have passed them up with absolutely zero regrets.

And I will continue passing them up.

It is maybe, as Kuga says, a case of chivalry being dead, but if I'm still single and a virgin the day I kick the bucket, and being a generally nice and decent bloke who respects girls doesn't get me a decent relationship, it just keeps pointing to my general impression that there is something very wrong with the world today.

It's all fine and well to say that Syco, especially when you guys are still in your mid twenties, but at some stage a "nice guy" has to put his foot down. Shit dude! I'm turning 30 this year........ 30......... and what do I have to show for it? Three relationships in the last four years where I'm the one that gets screwed over and taken advantage of because I'm the "nice guy".

You, Tinman, Wenz and Grimmy..... you guys have met me. You guys know what I'm like. What did I do to deserve that?

Well you know what? Fuck that shit..... up the ass. Why stick with being someone good and treating people well if it's just gonna make them take advantage of you the whole fucking time?

Hey dude, I know how you feel. I think I might also be going along the same path, but seriously, think about it. If you let your situation get the better of you, then you're no better than that, with all due respect.

My feeling is simple - if you cant respect the opposite sex then how much respect do you have for yourself? Some of these guys who take the view of use and loose and abuse even, I have found to be the most insecure, immature, childish, irresponsible men. And I for one wont have anything to do with a person who behaves like that - especially the girls who has started following the philosophy.

In the end your letting yourself down and your not gaining respect, I know you say you dont care what these girls or guys think about you. But if you stop and take a look at yourself, you will realise that you care and that is why your acting like a spoiled 4year old.

Dont blame all women, guys are just as guilty of abusing the nice girls.

well said. I do not hate woman. I have a great respect for them.
I just think it must be wonderful to actually find someone who you can be yourself with and that you enjoy being around not just for the sake of sex.
