It's not nice. But its nicer than bringing an unwanted child into this world to be raised by unprepared parents. I'm not a big believer in marriage so do what you want, don't have to marry her to bring up the child. My cousins were raised by parents who were all married except for the binding paper.
Just be sure you actually both really want to have the child
