Diablo III beta coming in Q3

Someone that FINALLY understands what I mean when I say "public Beta's ruin games"

Unless of course you have players that want to test and want to help for the better. What does ruin the game is pricks who just join up to play it and magically forget about the BETA / TEST parts.

Nah, this is Blizzard. Remember that it took ages for Diablo II to be released to and when it came out, it actually was dated. 800x600 resolution! Ewww! Which was fixed with the expansion. I've got a lot of faith in Blizzard. They know what they are doing.

Actually, wasn't 800x600 added with the expansion? Also its not designed by the same guys who did diablo 1 and 2. Just saying i'm starting to get a little skeptical. I hope I'm wrong and leaning towards being wrong. But as much as i enjoyed starcraft 2, i didn't enjoy as much is did starcraft 1.

hellfire released: 1997 - diablo 2: 2000. Thats a 3 year gap.

Diablo 2 - Lord of destruction 2001 - diablo 3 most likely 2012 - over a decade gap. Its already over 3 times longer than the previous gap.

I'm also bitter since i bought a kick as computer a couple years ago because i thought it would be released sooner. :P

You may be right about the 800x600. I first thought that then thought it sounds crazy. Wow that really is ages ago. I haven't played the second Starcraft but hearing that you enjoyed the first one more makes me a bit worried.

Wow I thought it took ages back then. Only 3 years? Nowadays that's normal. But yes, they have been busy with Diablo III for way too long now. I'm going to hope for the best!
