There is a link on my fb profile to the GT.com video review. Go check it out, it gives it 7.9 saying that there are worse team orientated shooters. Im still getting it, hope you do also, been too long since we had a decent mp focused game.
Ya ill still get it, why the hell not. At least we can be miserable together

Biggest issue with any online shooter is that most idiots (read: fellow players) are morons who have nigh an inkling what "team play" means. I have played matcher where the team is suppose to be capturing points only to have the entire fucking team running around seeing who gets the higher k/d ratio. I like the idea of a game that tells you "Oi! You the stupid moron who insists on playing Soldier when you team needs an Engineer, change or no XP for u." If players can't think for themselves the devs will think for them. The removal of headshots and the nade which does't reduce everybody in the room to red paste is other tweaks aimed at improving gameplay for everyone not just the individual. Most annoying thing in Halo & COD is the nade spammers who empty their nade reserves into a room, no headshots mean campers are going to be hard pressed.

I'll play it and decide for myself, alot of people latched onto the whole parkour mechanic and are now disappointed that it doesn't feature more in the final product; be glad some studios still have the heart to try new concepts instead of just rehashing the same tired IPs for the 20th time. I always find it Ironic; everybody is always lamenting how the big publishers are just rereleasing the same title year after year but when someone gives them something differnt they piss and moan that is not like the rehashed titles.

The problem about this game for me is that it's just too... I dunno..no headshots? WTF. Nah dude, not any of what you said justifies this game's gameplay for me, not even the fact that you probably called me an idiot.

It looks boring, to be honest. And I like team based games!

    +1
I know exactly what you mean. My gut told me "don't buy Sniper, it's shit", but I still bought it and surprise surprise I hated it. Worst game I ever paid money for. The difference with Brink is that my gut is telling me that it will he awesome and that I'll love it. My concern atm is that PSN is still down so for the moment it will be SP only and most reviews agree that the SP is not so great. Will see how I feel Friday, but I think I'll give it a shot.

Be sure you give us your opinion on it though. I know I said I'll give it a skip without curiosity, but I'd like to hear what you say, even if it's just to confirm my feelings about it. Ha ha

Even though to0kenZa is an idiot, I agree with him.

Perhaps most importantly, it's perfectly executed on consoles.
And that's why I will NOT be buying this. Another console game with a PC port.

Was really looking forward to this, now I'm sad Panda. Will wait for responses from my friends, don't want to make the same mistake I made with Lost Planet 2

The above is a PC stream of a guy playing Brink, interesting to watch.
It sounds to me the PC players seem to have a higher opinion of Brink than the console players do.

BTW the above stream has a little bit of language in it some times, just a friendly warning
