Most recent 2D game played

Capsized, very cool little 2D side scroller. Lots of weapons, a grappling hook,as well as jetpack for you little spaceman, all the ingredients for some epic battles with all kinds of alien nasties. Demo on steam if you want to check it out. And the graphics is gorgeous.

Sounds cool! Got screenies?

One of my favourite 2D side scrollers of sorts is ELMA (Elasto Mania)

The game is very small and should be available as a demo or possibly even freeware now. It's tons of fun and quite difficult.

You control a dude on a motoX bike who can ride upside down and backwards and whatnot across obstacles (collect all the apples before getting the flower)

It's super addictive and the physics is made of lol!

Wasted weeks of my life on that game, had to buy a new keyboard half way in because the old one couldn't handle the punishment of all my vloermoere.... :p

I recently played the THOR flash game on MARVEL.com. Way better than any of the console versions. Its old school and can be a bit challenging at times but I played it for 2 hours straight and enjoyed it very much :)

Most recent? Just finished Minesweeper... again

Before that from the top of my head probably Dark Reign. Think anything after that was 3D.

Capsized. Got very good reviews.

Played it at work last week. It's pretty cool. Just had trouble getting use to the grapple mechanic + jetpack. Sometimes I could really swing like a king, but most of the times I ended up just halting any momentum. Game's pretty short, but the art direction is really nice!

Honestly, most recent 2d game played (and finished!) was World of Goo (love that ending!!). before that i remember playing a flash based portal. Brilliant:) And tetris...

Spend extremely large amounts of my computer science class in highschool playing that.. As did 90% of the class.
