    Yes, these are the typical bait-and-snag tactics.

    Unfortunately, the unsuspecting do get caught out with this. I am sure I have seen something to the same affect on the MyBB forums.

    Just restrain yourself from subbing to the eTV late night specials

    I know what you mean my friend subscribed to one of those and was stuck for a week tryin to get rid of the ads and stuff and he didnt seem to read between the lines when it said R30per week so he would charge his phone and the next day it would sommer disappear lol....
