I went into my voting station and THERE WAS NOBODY THERE 0.o

Literally - the IEC staff looked like they were falling asleep. 2 minutes fl ... well ... I want to say 2 minutes, but it took me about 20 minutes to unfold the Metro ballot. Who do all those people think they're fooling. The Cape Independence Party? They probably got 3 votes total, and I'll bet you it's the same 3 people who appear on their poster.

Anyways - Kuga - your vote counts - even if you went over the line a bit; it's pretty damn clear who you were voting for. The only way that won't get counted is if an ANC fanatic gets your ballot in front of them - and the votes get rechecked after the initial count at the polling station. The only time they call it a spoilt vote is if there is any scribbling on any other part of the ballot paper, or if it isn't clear who you were voting for.

Unless they've drastically changed the way things work since I last pulled a shift during an election.
