He was only 5 years old - so he probably hadn't gotten into the swing of things yet. Maybe he was practicing on the TV.

What is wrong with some people? Anyway, it's her own damn fault. If you're going to let a 5 year old swing a wii remote, you should make sure yourself that the stap is secured and he's not close enough to anything to bump into it or fall on the tv. And then watch the kid. He's 5! You must watch him! He could just as easily fall over and crack his head open on the coffee table or something.
