I think one of the few plus point for those without internet is that, for them, its just business as usual. (everyone i know that own a PS3 falls into this category...sad)
I wasn't too cut up about this. I was still able to play my PS3 games, and not being able to use PSN services for a while was not a tragedy: I just found other things to do. The fact that I'll be getting a welcome back gift from SONY is a bonus.

I think the latest Extra Credits sums up my feelings about it:

Truth be told I don't mind and I am looking forward to getting two free games.
Not forgetting the free PSN Plus for those of us who don't have it-and the top-up for those who do.![]()

Sony wouldn't lose my support. I paid alot of money for my console and games. What would be the point of selling them and losing out?
Sony is a bigger enough company to solve this problem, we just need patience. While it has been annoying, mainly due to the fact that I was on the verge of becoming a PS Plus member, I am exctied for when the store comes back online.
Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
One day you will wake up to a track record of abuse and shady BS, and same as everyone else arrive at a point where you've just had enough.
Walkman copyright infringement.
Exploding laptop batteries.
Pirated software used to develop certain games' music.
DRM scandal.
OtherOS removal.
BC removal.
Ignorant to security of user's data.
And that's just a list of all their MAJOR failures...
